Finding a Way to Replace Potentially Toxic Components

We recently inherited a new home, and it was mostly fantastic news. Obviously, nothing involving death of a family member is going to be totally welcome. But it was a uncle we hardly knew, who had lived well into his late nineties. So for the most part we were pretty happy about the prospect of a new home. However, the architecture of the place turned out to show the time in which it was built. In particular, there was a lot of potentially toxic lead used in the roofing. So I began to look into a lead flashing substitute which might be able to replace it. Thankfully, I found a great shop which was able to offer us a good deal. The best part about it for me is that it gave easy integration with aluminum components that were already in place. Even better though, the environmental impact of it is very low.
